Requirements for an Immune System Disorder Disability
The Social Security Administration has a specific Listing section 14.00 for Immune System Disorder for Adults. A few of the most seen sections of Immune System Disorders I encounter in representing Claimant are outlined below.
14.02 for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus requires you to meet one of two requirements. The first requires involvement of two or more organs/body systems with one of those involved to at least a moderate level of severity and at least two of the symptoms or signs (severe fatigue, fever, malaise, or involuntary weight loss). The second requires repeated manifestations of SLE, with at least two of the symptoms or signs noted above and one marked level of limitations of activities of daily living, or maintaining social functioning, or completing tasks in a timely manner due to deficiencies in concentration, persistence or pace.
