The U.S. Department of Justice is seeking judicial misconduct proceedings against U.S. District Chief Judge James Boasberg of the District of Columbia, alleging he made private political comments about President Donald Trump to Chief Justice John Roberts, in violation of the canons of judicial conduct and erode public confidence in judicial neutrality.
