Navigation Information on AIDS Alabama South and Shell Health
In a previous blog, I noted that there are multiple resources for affordable or low-cost medical care in the Mobile area and one of the resources I would like to highlight this month is AIDS Alabama South. Their location is 4321 Downtowner Loop N, Mobile, AL 36609. They provide free, confidential and anonymous rapid HIV and Hepatitis C testing to anyone without an appointment. They serve the Mobile, Escambia, Baldwin, Butler, Clarke, Choctaw, Conecuh, Wilcox, Marengo, Monroe, Covington, and Washington Counties.
AIDS Alabama South provides preventative treatments if you have tested negative for HIV.
They also provide life sustaining services, transportation, support groups, financial assistance, food pantries, and nutritional programs. AIDS Alabama South also has housing assistance and transportation assistance for those in need.
