I am lucky enough to be able to hear the stories of these Veterans.  Recently, one of the Marines from the PL Wilson Detachment of the Marine Corps League, Horace “Bubba” Jackson, was honored by our local news.  Bubba is one of the “Chosin Few.”  The Chosin Few are the Marines who survived nearly overwhelming Chinese attacks at the battle of the Chosin Reservoir in what is now North Korea.  You can read of Bubba’s experience and watch the interview here.
